Oxford United U18’s take on AFC Bournemouth in the Youth Alliance South West Division on Saturday the 19th of November.
The U’s currently sit in fourth place and face a big challenge against a Bournemouth side that sit top of the division.
Enrique Tiamuna is raring to go after the squad have had their last two games against Newport and Wimbledon called off.
“It’s going to be a good game, it always us between us and Bournemouth. I think we can get a result if we go back to basics and play as a team. It’s not ideal having games cancelled but its just something that happens, and we have to move on. We’re up for it because we haven’t had a game in a while” said the midfielder.
Manager Chris Hackett said
“Last time out against Colchester we were disappointed but we’ve had time to regroup from that and are more than ready to go again on Saturday. It will be a tough challenge but I have full faith in the boys that we can perform against a very good Bournemouth side.”
After the weekend, the U18’s play in the FA Youth Cup against Hordean FC at Court Place Farm on Thursday the 24th of November.
