Oxford United’s Under 18s are in Youth Alliance action on Saturday morning when they welcome Plymouth Argyle to the Bangkok Glass Training Centre
The U’s have slipped a little in the table after last week’s game at home to Portsmouth was postponed but with 7 games left of the season and 8 points separating the top 6 teams, the title race is still wide open as Coach Chris Hackett told us
“It’s a really competitive league this season and there are some very strong sides. We have said all along that it’s not all about winning the league, it is about developing players, but now is the time when the games start to run out and there is a little bit of pressure on results; that’s when you find out that little bit more about character and the players you have in the squad.”
Plymouth currently occupy the league position above the U’s who sit in 5th.
The game kicks off at midday at the Bangkok Glass Training Centre and we will have a report right here straight after
