Oxford United should have centre-backs Luke McNally and Ciaron Brown available again as they welcome Bolton Wanderers to the Kassam Stadium on Saturday.
McNally was absent for family reasons on Tuesday at Accrington where Brown limped off in the second half with an ankle injury. However that injury was not too serious and with McNally due back it gives boss Karl Robinson plenty of options as his side look to continue their excellent home form.
“Forget injuries, suspensions or the other things that happen during a long football season. You just deal with them and you keep going.
"We are in a good place at the moment and one bad result at Accrington doesn’t change that. You are going to have the ups and downs on the journey we are on. I am really OK with that. We came back on Tuesday night, recovered on Wednesday and then we have prepared properly for a game against a very good Bolton side.
“I like their Manager and he has done an excellent job at a massive football club. They will pack the away area but we will have a 10,000 crowd behind us again. You can judge a football club on many things but to do something we haven’t done since 1987, when we played Arsenal, Everton and Liverpool at home is one of the biggest things we have done. To even be mentioned in the same sentence as that great team is remarkable and very humbling.
“But it’s nothing to do with us. That’s down to the fans. People are excited about the club and how we are doing things while respecting the community and the club’s history.
“I’m looking forward to the game on Saturday, but so are Bolton, I’m sure. It will be two good teams and we are looking forward to getting back out there and playing at a place where we really enjoy playing in front of our fans.”
