PREVIEW Oxford United v Leyton Orient

Oxford United welcome Leyton Orient to the Kassam Stadium this evening in the opening game of the Papa John's Trophy

TEAM NEWS

The U's welcomed Marcus McGuane, James Henry and Alex Gorrin back for the win at Cheltenham on Saturday but are likely to take another look at their younger players tonight.

James Golding, Josh Johnson, Tyler Goodrham, Gatlin O'Donkor and Slavi Spasov all impressed against Crystal Palace in the Carabao Cup last week and could be involved while Leeds loanee Lewis Bate is likely to return along with Ed McGinty and John Mousinho.

Billy Bodin is available despite his red card at Cheltenham - he will miss Saturday's home game against Burton instead

THE OPPOSITION

Leyton Orient Head Coach Richie Wellens says he will also make changes to his unbeaten O's side who stayed top of League Two with a 4-2 win over Hartlepool United on Saturday.

"We need players that are training really well every single day that deserve to be on the pitch, but at the moment we can't get them on," Wellens told the club website. "They will get an opportunity to go away at a good stadium against good League One opposition and perform well".

Tickets are available for this game for just £10 for adults and £5 for over 65s and under 16s.
