Oxford United are pleased to welcome 20-year-old Kyle Joseph on a season-long loan from Swansea City. The young forward began his career at Wigan Athletic before a move to South Wales in the summer of 2021, when he was then loaned out to Cheltenham Town.
Between August 2021 and January 2022, Kyle scored four goals in 22 appearances for the Robins, before being recalled by the Swans half way through the campaign.
On the move, Kyle said:
“I’m delighted to be here and have already sensed a good feeling around the club. The team have made a great start to the season so I can’t wait to get going myself and help the team be successful this year.”
Karl Robinson told us:
“Kyle offers us a great option in our forward positions and with his high energy I’m confident he will fit in straight away. He’s a young, pacey player who will provide us with another attacking threat.”
Kyle becomes United’s eighth new addition this summer.
He will be United’s number 22. Want to sponsor our new signing. Call 01865 337503/513 or email commercial@oufc.co.uk
