Our Guard of Honour when we welcome Crystal Palace on Tuesday night are Oxford Blackbirds U11 Girls
Team coach Craig Greenough, his wife Kirsty and Thomas Farnell all work together to help their U11 ‘Lionesses of the Leys’ on their grassroots journey.
Through the covid pandemic they kept the team togetherness going by doing zoom meetings and when they came back to football the girls had a brilliant season getting to the final in their league cup. The focus is to encourage the girls to have fun and develop along the way which has shown in their performance; the girls love football and there are some big OUFC fans in the team .
