The stars will come out when Oxford United are reunited for Micky Lewis’s Memorial Match on October 10th.
Micky did so much to help football across Oxfordshire and on Sunday 10th all of his favourite things will come together for a fitting tribute to a true Oxford legend.
The game takes place at the Kassam Stadium at 3pm and will see all eras of Micky’s career represented.
The first 45 minutes will see a team based around Oxford United players who played alongside Micky, or worked with him, in the 90s for the U’s. They will take on the Oxford University side, who were also coached by Micky for many years.
The second half will see players Micky coached at the U’s around the 2010 season take on an ‘Oxford City All Stars XI’ packed full with great names from City.
The Stars of the 90s side is quite something…
