Golf Day Goes With a Swing

Oxford United’s Golf Day went with a swing today as staff, players and supporters enjoyed a fantastic day of golf at Studley Wood Golf course.

Early clouds lifted to make it a glorious afternoon as Karl Robinson and some of his first team squad joined fans and sponsors for a much anticipated fixture that saw 16 teams of four compete on the beautifully manicured Studley Wood greens.

Among the players were Luke McNally, Jack Stevens, Steve Seddon, Anthony Forde, James Henry, and Matty Taylor.Image removed.

Karl told us:

“It was a good chance for us to get back out there with a few of our commercial partners and fans and have a bit of fun. The lads trained hard yesterday with a double session at the Training Ground so they deserved a few hours off to come and join in and I want to thank Rosie and Adam and the commercial team for putting on a really enjoyable day.”

Oxford United would like to thank Studley Wood Golf Club, F Church, Planet Recruitment, Textures Flooring, Charles Peters Recruitment, The Orion Group, City Site, Little OX Brewery, Allsports Trophies, TMB Events and Polythene UK,

Keep an eye out for details for the next Golf Day and join the fun next time around.
