Oxford United welcome Stevenage to the Kassam Stadium this evening in the Papa John's Trophy (7.45pm)
TEAM NEWS
The U's lost their opening game at Cambridge and need a win tonight as they look to progress through a group that also contains Spurs U21
"Winning the first game is a massive help but we have two games left and if we can win them both then we will be fine" Karl Robinson told us. "It won't be easy. I managed Alex Revell the Stevenage Manager when he was a player and he is a great student of the game who I am sure will do really well in management.
"We are without Gavin Whyte and Marcus McGuane and Luke McNally is suspended but we will go strong because we want to go through and see how far we can go."
Alex Gorrin is also unavailable while Herbie Kane picked up a knock in the win at Sheffield Wednesday and will not feature.
Youngsters Josh Johnson and Gatlin O'Donkor are added to the squad while midfielder Ben Davis could be involved for the first time after joining from Fulham.

THE OPPOSITION
Stevenage, like the U’s, lost their first game in the group, 4-3 to Spurs U21 but picked up their first win in eight games at the weekend to lift them to 17th in League 2
"I’m delighted with the clean sheet after last week, delighted with the character everyone showed in a game played in conditions you love as a footballer,” boss Revell said “The most important thing for me was the amount of situations we found ourselves in terms of getting through on goal and the chances created, we could have been out of sight to be honest. The clean sheet, fantastic spirit and character gives us something to build on.”
