PREVIEW Burton Albion v Oxford United

Oxford United take on Burton Albion at the Pirelli Stadium on Saturday (3pm)

TEAM NEWS
United are at full strength other than Joel Cooper who is close to a full return after a chest problem, although Manager Karl Robinson will be missing.

Karl tested positive in a PCR test this week and will self-isolate for ten days before returning to the Training Ground in the middle of next week. Craig Short takes charge of the U's with former Brewer John Mousinho alongside him.

Ryan Williams limped off during the warm up ahead of the win over Shrewsbury on Tuesday with Luke McNally taking his place on the bench, but the Australian winger is fit again and travels with the squad.

THE OPPOSITION
The Brewers beat Morecambe at home 3-2 last Saturday and then won 1-0 at Fleetwood in midweek to move one point and one place above the U’s in the table.

“The conditions were really difficult but we played them well in the first half and created a lot of chances and if we had been 3-0 up at the break I don’t think anyone would have complained" boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink said after the win at Highbury.

“We did need to be more clinical to put the game to bed in the first half but it was good to be ahead at half time. The second half was different and we didn’t really have many chances but neither did they. They were more direct and we knew we had to be more solid and we were and the big thing for me was that we kept a clean sheet.”
