Oxford United are pleased to welcome Oracle Pool and Snooker as our Match Sponsor for our Sky Bet League One encounter with Rotherham United on Saturday afternoon.
Situated upstairs at Coxeter House, Stratton Way, Abingdon, Oracle Pool and Snooker provide a relaxed, traditional environment for Snooker and Pool. They offer the use of eight English pool tables, one Rasson Tournament American 9 ball table, and eight full size snooker tables.
The locally based pool and snooker club pride themselves on having a star tournament snooker table, cut exactly as you would see on the TV for all the main professional tournaments. This table is regularly used by their resident pro Liang Wenbo, who has been with the club since 2019.
The club also has a fully stocked bar and pride themselves on having the best pizzas money can buy!
One of the owners at Oracle Pool and Snooker, Paul Carter told us, “Myself and John are both huge Oxford fans, so it’s great to give something back to the club in the form of sponsorship, while hopefully raising the profile of our club with fellow U’s fans.
“We have been player sponsors over the last three seasons and previously had a great day when we were sponsors for the Blackpool match in 2020. I have also been a season ticket holder with the club since 1988.
“We are very excited to be sponsoring the game, win, lose or draw it’s great to see the way Karl and his team have got the players playing such attractive attacking style of football. We hope all the fans at Saturday’s game enjoy the match and hopefully we can celebrate another three points too!”
