Oxford United Midfielder Ben Davis has returned to the training ground from international duty, where he helped Thailand Under-23s to a 1-1 draw against hosts Mongolia although the former Fulham youngster was then sidelined for the next two games for the Thai squad.
However, as he told iFollow today, Ben will soon be back on the training pitches at the Bangkok Glass Training Centre.
“The physio has said it is not a serious injury” he told this week’s Preview Show. “I should be back to training shortly, hopefully next week.
“It was great experience to be away with Thailand, I am awalsy proud to be part of that and we did well in the games. That was a wonderful experience and I hope there will be lots more chances. The same here at Oxford: I made my debut in the Papa John’s Trophy this season and now I need to keep pushing myself, work hard and hopefully get a chance in the squad for a league game as well.”
