Oxford United are proud to announce a new partnership with a global brand with Bangkok Glass becoming Official Sponsors at the Training Ground.
Bangkok Glass boast a full range of glass packaging materials across all international markets and are recognized as Thailand’s largest provider of glass and packaging as well as being one of the largest businesses in Asia.
Oxford United Managing Director Niall McWilliams welcomed Bangkok Glass, saying:
“It’s genuinely exciting for us to be working alongside a global business who have great connections with a number of sports and businesses both in the UK and around the world.
“The Training Ground is not just the home of our First Team. The Academy is based there, the Women’s team train there and in the evenings and at weekends the facility is home to many community sports clubs. It’s something that is already providing a great facility for the city of Oxford, and I think Bangkok Glass understand the values we have: a growing football club with great links to local businesses, a club that is determined to continue to be at the heart of our community.
“We will work together with the City Council to expand and make this facility an even greater resource for everyone associated with the club and Oxford.”
United Chairman Sumrith 'Tiger' Thanakarnjanasuth added
“This is great news for the football club. We have strong links with Thailand and now we welcome another huge name in Bangkok Glass. They are our first official partners at the training ground and once again it shows the progress we are making commercially around the whole world as well as closer to home.”
Pavin Bhirombhakdi, CEO Bangkok Glass Group of Companies said: “We will work together to expand and make it an even greater resource for everyone associated with the club, the city and the county.”
