Oxford United Women are delighted to announce Daisy Ackerman as the club’s seventh summer signing.
Ackerman joins the club in partnership with Arsenal Under-21 Academy, and the winger highlighted the positive atmosphere at the club upon her arrival:
“This is a really nice club; everyone is really welcoming and there’s good quality players,” Daisy said.
“The talks to join were really positive, Liam [Gilbert] was really encouraging for me to come here and this will be a really good opportunity for me to get lots of minutes in.
“I like to get up and down the wing a lot, overlapping and getting crosses into the box. I’ve been at Arsenal for a year and before I was at Bristol City.
“My biggest aim is just to get lots of minutes in this season and enjoy it. I hope to improve and get better and for the team to win and go up this season.”
