PREVIEW Oxford United v Wigan Athletic

Oxford United welcome Wigan Athletic to the Kassam Stadium on Sunday (3pm)

The game was postponed by 24 hours due to a frozen pitch but with temperatures rising this weekend the game should be fine for a 3pm Sunday start.

TEAM NEWS
The U's will wait on the fitness of James Henry and Sam Long who both limped off during the win at Bristol Rovers on Tuesday. The pair are rated doubtful but Mark Sykes drew praise from the Manager after coming on as a sub for Henry and Anthony Forde played a big part in United's second goal after replacing Long.

Jamie Hanson, Rob Hall and Dan Agyei have all missed the last couple of games but stand by should Henry or Long not make it.

THE OPPOSITION
Caretaker boss Leam Richardson's side won 1-0 victory at Northampton Town on Tuesday evening and he is hoping they can show the same commitment against the U’s tomorrow:

“The lads applied themselves and worked so hard, they really deserved that win" he said. "If we don't believe, then what's the point? We may as well turn the lights off.

"That's not what we're about. We've got a group of players and staff here at this club who will roll their sleeves up and represent themselves and the badge as well as they can."
