The two form teams in League 1 go head to head on Saturday when Oxford United head for Doncaster Rovers.
“You couldn’t pick a more mouth watering game” Karl Robinson told iFollow today. “The three times I have been there with Oxford I think we have won one, lost one and drawn one so they are always difficult games and Doncaster are a very good side this year.
“They got some good results early on and obviously their recent form has been outstanding. They are coached extremely well, they have good players and we know we are going to have to be at our best.
“But we are in such good form ourselves right now. I actually don’t think we have been at our best in the last two or three league games. We got a little bit lucky at Rochdale and then had to grind out a result against Fleetwood last Saturday. But we found a way to win both games and that’s all you can ask really.
“We feel we did good business in the Transfer Window and we believe we can kick on, even after this run we are on.
“I asked the new lads to come in a little early today and we sat down and explained what is expected of them and what it means to wear the badge and play for this club. That’s important. We have values and beliefs that run right the way through the whole club and everyone needs to buy into them. They got it.
"Training has been excellent, we have decisions to make on who plays, but those are good decisions to face, and we are raring to go.”
