Oxford United’s under-18s play their last EFL Youth Alliance game of the year when they face Exeter City at the Cliff Hill Training Ground this Saturday at 11am.
Exeter are joint leaders of the South West Division with 7 wins from their last 10 games but as Chris Hackett told us, the U’s have title aspirations of their own.
“It’s a great game to have just before Christmas” he told us. “We have had some really good games against Exeter and with the two teams in decent form it should really focus everyone’s minds.
"The lads need a game to get back into things after losing inthe FA Youth Cup and this is the ideal game to try and bounce back from that and go into the new year on a positive note.”
We’ll have a report and highlights for you right here.
