Oxford United return to the Kassam Stadium this Saturday for the first home game of the Sky Bet League 1 season.
The U’s welcome Charlton Athletic and the Yellow Army will be back in force to support them.
That means the Football Special buses will be back too.
The club has teamed up with Thames Travel to restart the OX2, OX3 and OX7 football special bus services to provide a simple and cheap way to get to and from home games with a number of routes across the city and Oxfordshire .
The OX2 starts at Didcot and picks up in Steventon, Drayton and Abingdon.
The OX3 starts at Carterton and then picks up at Brize Norton, Witney, Eynsham and Botley, while the OX7 picks up at various stops in Kidlington as well as along the Banbury Road, Marston and Headington.
Double-decker buses run for all league matches (Saturdays only for the OX2) with cup games decided on an individual basis.
The club will continue to work with Thames Travel to ensure that the buses are run with all safety advice and protocols followed.
We are currently looking for a volunteer to help assist on the OX7 service. If you live in the Kidlington area and would like to help your fellow fans get to games then get in touch with Club Secretary Mick Brown: gm@oufc.co.uk
