Oxford United have completed the signing of young midfielder Ben Davis from Fulham on a two-year deal.
The 20-year-old was born in Thailand but grew up in Singapore before moving to London to take up a scholarship at Craven Cottage. Having turned pro he has been a regular in Fulham’s under 18 and 23 sides and told us:
“It’s an exciting move for me. I like to think I work hard, can create things and I think this is a chance to push for a place in the senior side at a really good club who play good football.”
Karl Robinson told us
“He’s got energy and talent and has been through the system at a terrific club who have a history of helping young players develop. As with Mackenzie Chapman who we signed on Friday, Ben has a good attitude, lots of ability and we look forward to working with him and seeing him develop further.”
