Oxford United will have Sam Winnall and James Henry available again as they head for Shrewsbury Town for a crucial Sky Bet League 1 game on Saturday.
Results last night moved the U’s out of the play-off places but very much in contention and with a home game against Burton Albion still to follow United’s task has become clearer with each passing gameday.
“We weren’t too worried about last night” Karl Robinson told us. “We trained yesterday then most of us went and played golf at the Oxford Golf Course. Everyone was very relaxed because we have always known what we have to do.
"We had a target from a few games out. Two blocks of five games with specific points targets in each block. We reached that target in the first block and know that we can still get to where we want to be from this last five.
“We will have James Henry available again after suspension and Sam Winnall is back in training. That just leaves Brandon Barker and hopefully he will be available again for the Burton game. John Mousinho is back out on the grass as well so we are in a good place
“The players have a day off today then they will be back in on Thursday, we travel to Shrewsbury on Friday and we will prepare properly, like we always do, and be ready for the game at the weekend”.
