Oxford United’s Under 21s kick off their competitive programme on Tuesday afternoon when they welcome Southend United to the Oxford Sports Park in the Central Cup.
The young U’s are part of this season’s Central League but with the current covid restrictions the competition has been slightly restructured to become a ‘round robin’ cup format this season and the U’s kick-off with a home game in the group stages against the Shrimpers, kicking off at 2pm.
Unfortunately the game has to be played behind closed doors with no spectators allowed inside the Training Ground at this time but we’ll bring you coverage of the game and match reaction straight after the final whistle.
United will then welcome AFC Bournemouth for their next game on 24th November
