Three more Oxford United youngsters have gone on loan to gain experience.
Forward Jack Stevens, who signed a professional contreact on Friday, has signed for a month at Hungerford Town in the National League South while second-year scholars Callum Crook and Sam Johnson have signed for a month at Kidlington.
"It's all part of our programme" Dan Harris, head of Academy told us. "Jack had a loan at Thame that was interrupted by the covid crisis and now his second loan is a step up and will mean competitive football in the Conference South which we know is a very tough standard for youngsters.
"Callum scored 25 times for the youth team last year and Sam has captained the side from left back and they both now get the chance to take that first step in to senior football where we know they will be looked after and we can keep an eye on their progress."
