PREVIEW Peterborough United v Oxford United

Oxford United head for Peterborough on Saturday in Sky Bet League 1.

TEAM NEWS
Tuesday's postponed game against Crewe allowed the U's to stage an 11 v 11 training match and both Sam Winnall and Alex Gorrin came through that with no problem. Both travel with the squad and will be hoping for their first starts of the season while James Henry, who sat out the training game as a precaution, stands by for the 500th appearance of his career.

See Karl Robinson previewing the game in iFollow right now where we have a chat with Josh Ruffels and take a look behind the scenes at the Academy in the Preview Show.

THE OPPOSITION
Posh boss Darren Ferguson has seenn his side win two of their last three games to rise to fifth in the early table and believes that United will soon hit form:

“Sometimes losing in play-offs can affect you at the start of the following season and I have no doubt Oxford will be up there challenging for promotion at the end of the season. They have good technical players and strong attacking players. They have plenty of ability out wide so it should be a good and close game.”
