Oxford United's Walking Football team continues to go from strength to strength with a new league and a new website
Yesterday saw the first appearance of an Oxford United Walking Football Club in the Middlesex League.
This over 60s team, managed by Martin Scarfe, beat Chiltern 1-0 with a Don Ramage goal, drew with Luton & Hemel 0-0, and lost 1-0 to Uxbridge.
Next Sunday, 8th March, sees the start of the Thames Valley Walking Football League 2020 Spring league and the team's A team will play in the Premier Division while the B & C teams will both compete in division 1.
With the club growing all the time and interest at an all time high why not get involved? It's a great way of staying fit and active in a team envionment.
