Over the last week or two Oxford United have received a number of questions from supporters regarding various outstanding operational issues following the curtailment of the 2019/20 Sky Bet League One season.
At present most staff remain furloughed but we thank fans for their patience as we try to work through a number of issues that are still outstanding since the original season ended and as we head into the play-offs.
Ticketing
Season Tickets
We will be launching an exclusive Season Ticket renewal phase for 2019/20 Season Ticket holders very soon. Supporters who chose to redeem their 2019/20 rebate as a ticket credit will have this added to their OUFCTickets account ahead of the sales window. Those who opted for their rebate to be refunded will receive the money back to their account in approximately 8 weeks time.
Home Match tickets
All supporters who purchased home match tickets for the scheduled league fixtures with MK Dons and Portsmouth at the Kassam Stadium, will be given three options for what they’d like to do with the amount they are owed:
- Waive their refund for the benefit of the club
- Have their refund added to their OUFCTickets account as a credit
- Request a refund back to your bank account
We are looking to begin the refund process following the resolution of the play-offs, and will notify all supporters once it opens.
To ensure you are kept in the loop with all your OUFC news, you will need to ensure you are opted in to receive information and we have all your up to date details. Please click here for full details of how you can do this.
Away Match Tickets
All supporters who purchased tickets for the U’s away fixtures at Wycombe Wanderers and/or Rochdale will receive a full refund.
A number of fans have indicated that they wish to waive the amount for the benefit of the club – thank you so much for your generosity. The best way you can support the club financially at this time is by purchasing a cut-out for the upcoming play-off home leg against Portsmouth, full details can be found here
The refund process for away match tickets will begin following the resolution of the play-offs.
Retail
Outstanding retail orders – including NHS home shirts
The club would like to apologise wholeheartedly for the delays supporters have experienced in receiving their retail orders. The warehouse was closed during the early period of the pandemic, and whilst we have been able to re-open on a limited basis, it is still taking a considerable amount of time to fulfil orders that were made during the closure – we do thank everyone for your patience and we are endeavouring to get all of your orders fulfilled as soon as we can
Click & Collect
Plans will be announced shortly for all those who have orders to collect from the club shop, as soon as the Ozone Leisure Park reopens to members of the public. We’ll confirm new opening hours specifically for collections.
Despatch Confirmation & RM Tracking
Once your parcel has been picked and packed you’ll receive an email with Royal Mail tracking information. Please allow up to 3 working days for this information to go live due to an additional “quarantine” phase before your parcel is despatched.
Hospitality and Commercial
Supporters and clients will be contacted in due course regarding their options for 2019/20 rebates. Following the resolution of the play-offs, the club will also be launching its hospitality and commercial offerings for the 2020/21 season.
MK Dons Programmes
A number of collectors have asked whether a match programme was produced for the cancelled home game against MK Dons. This was delivered as usual and will be available to buy shortly.
