Youth Team get Kassam Stadium Chance Against Preston

Oxford United’s under 18s gets the chance to play on a bigger stage when they welcome Preston North End in the fourth round of the FA Youth Cup this Wednesday.

The young U’s have beaten Reading City, Colchester United and Maidenhead United and now get a chance to shine at the Kassam Stadium on Wednesday 15th January with a 7pm kick off.

For many of the youth team this will be a first chance to play at the stadium and we would love fans to come along and support the stars of the future.

Admission is just £5 adults and £2 for over 65s and under 16s in the South Stand Lower. Tickets are online at oufctickets.co.uk and will be available from the Ticket Office on the night (there is no payment at the actual turnstiles).

Lead Coach Leon Blackmore-Such told us

“We have worked hard to get through to this stage and it’s fantastic that we get the chance to play at the Kassam. It’s all part of widening the team’s experience and I am sure they will all be looking forward to the evening and taking on a very good Preston side on the Kassam Stadium pitch.”
