Accommodation Required

Oxford United are looking for people who would be interested in offering host accommodation for some of our young aspiring footballers.

As part of the Youth Development programme here at the club we look to provide our scholars and U23s with accommodation whilst attending the full-time football and education programme.

Therefore, we are currently looking for additional accommodation options for some of these young players and would invite anyone interested in hosting a future Oxford star to contact Gareth Hamer on ghamer@oufc.co.uk

Hosts will receive a weekly allowance along with a number of additional benefits over the course of the season. Furthermore, below is an outline of what the role of a houseparent may look like throughout the season.

Academy Manager Dan Harris told us

“As a club we pride ourselves on "Investing in the lives of young footballers." This season, our houseparents have played a key role in helping our young players settle and develop here at Oxford United - their role in supporting our young men has really been invaluable. With our Youth Development programme continuing to grow, we're looking to add to our existing group of house parents and would love to hear from anyone who would like to play their part in supporting the next generation of young players here at the club."
