PREVIEW Oxford United v Norwich City U21

Oxford United welcome Norwich City's under 21 side to the Kassam Stadium this evening as the Leasing.com Trophy gets under way.

Team News
Dan Agyei stands by for his first start since joining from Burnley, having worked hard on his fitness over the last few weeks. The striker is likely to be part of a changed side for the U's where Sam Long, John Mousinho, Kevin Berkoe, Jamie Hanson, George Thorne, Rob Hall and Tariqe Fosu will all be hoping for opportunities.

The Opposition
None of Daniel Farke's senior squad will be involved but Under-23s head coach David Wright is looking for his young side to impress against the U's:

"We will have boys who will surprise us. Not in the sense that we don't know they are good players already, but they will show no fear, they won't be overawed by the occasion," he said. "On nights like this you do find out a lot about these young players. Are they brave enough to get on the ball when they have a 28-year-old with 300 appearances under their belt steaming towards them? That tells us little things about their character.

"We have done our homework on Oxford, we know the shape they have been playing but mostly it is about us."
