Oxford United’s under 18s look to continue their good league form away at Bristol Rovers tomorrow in the Youth Alliance League (1.30pm).
The U18s are unbeaten in four matches and come into the match in good form after an excellent win over local rivals Swindon Town was followed by a 2-1 home win over AFC Bournemouth; the visitors’ first defeat of the season.
Slavi Spasov remains sidelined but will make progress in his recovery in the coming weeks as the forward is set to make his first steps back out on the grass after sustaining his injury last season
Academy Coach Chris Hackett told us:
“It will be another tough game, the boys had a hard week with three games, and we’ve got a small squad so those like Viktor Milton, who has come back from a cruciate knee injury, he’s come through those three games and has been outstanding. We’ve recovered well, and we’ll go again against Bristol Rovers.”
The match will be played at UWE Hillside Gardens, Filton Road (BS16 1QQ) with FREE entry to supporters
