Oxford United look to extend their unbeaten run to ten games when they welcome Rochdale to the Kassam Stadium on Saturday.
Manager Karl Robinson is warning his players to guard against complacency though against a Dale side who are in great form as well.
“They are a good side” he told iFollow earlier today.” I saw them on Tuesday night against MK Dons and they move the ball really well and attack with real energy. Our fans will be expecting us to win because of the run we are on but it’s going to be a difficult game. They have experience in McShane, Henderson and Wilbraham and they also have some good young players and definitely a number of players who can hurt you on any day. It was a pleasure to watch them and they are a good side who have won three on the spin.
"We are in good form ourselves but we donlt have many league games now until the end of December withthe FA Cup and if the Ipswich game gets called off because they have a number of internationals- that’s something that’s highly likely - so it is a very important two weeks for us and there will be no rest because we need to carry this on and build on a very promising position.”
Anthony Forde returns to the United squad after a groin strain kept him out of action for the last few games.
“Fordy is training today after three weeks recovery” Karl confirmed “and that gives us a little bit more flexibility because we still have one or two players out at the moment so he will be a very welcome addition to the squad.”
