Oxford United’s under 18s get a chance to close the gap on the leaders this weekend when they take on Portsmouth away.
The U’s travel to Pompey on Saturday morning (11am) on the back of a disappointing defeat at Newport last time out but will be hoping to raise their game against table-topping Portsmouth.
Meanwhile the under 16 side, currently top of their league, travel to Newport on Saturday morning looking to continue their excellent form
One other Academy fixture to note is that the Under 23s will play AFC Bournemouth in a friendly next week as they continue their busy month of fixtures.
Chris Allen's side take on the Cherries at the Training Ground at 1pm on Tuesday. The game is open to the public and admission is free.
