Oxford United’s youngsters were among the goals this weekend and thriving while out on loan.
Kyran Lofthouse and Owen James have both been out on loan to gain valuable match experience and both are wasting no time in making the most of their opportunities. Forward Lofthouse made his debut for Oxford City on Saturday and scored one and made another as City beat Chelmsford 6-2 in the National League South.
Meanwhile forward James scored his third goal in three games for Bracknell Town during their 3-0 win away at Harlow.
Under 23s coach Chris Allen told us
“I went and watched Kyran on Saturday and thought he was outstanding and we have been to see Owen as well, and Aaron Heap over at North Leigh too, and they are all clearly doing well and enjoying the experience of playing senior football on a regular basis. It’s great for their development and they are all at good clubs who are looking after them well.”
