PREVIEW: U18s Ready For FA Youth Cup

Oxford United U18s face Reading City away in the FA Youth Cup First Round Proper this evening (7.45pm KO)

United travel to The Rivermoor on the back of a terrific 3-0 win over Forest Green Rovers on Saturday.

The U's will be without midfielder Jack Stevens who is over age for the competition and left-back Sam Johnson is set to miss out after he came off injured in Saturday's win over FGR.

However United's youngest ever goalscorer Slavi Spasov could be involved in the matchday squad for the first time since returning from injury and two of the under 16 side will step up including striker Adam Smith who is the first of that group to be offered a schoalrship after scoring 20 goals this season including a hat-trick against former club QPR.
