Oxford United Women welcome Plymouth Argyle Ladies to Court Place Farm this Sunday (14:00 KO) in the Women’s FA Cup second round.
Team news: The only injury for United is to midfielder Immy Lancaster, with the rest of the squad reporting fit and well.

“Plymouth are a very physical team in a good run of form, but we’re prepared for a battle.
”The FA Cup is a special competition for many fans, and it is no different for us. We can use this game to build upon the result against Watford, as long as we believe in ourselves to get the ball in the back of the net.”

United have proven themselves to be prolific goalscorers in some of their last few games; an 8-1 win against Norwich and a 32-0 victory versus Launton being the highlights of The U’s recent goalscoring success. However, these impressive results have been offset by recent losses to Keynsham Town, Gillingham, and most recently Watford. The U’s currently sit in 6th place in the Women’s National League.

Despite being on the road for the vast majority of their games this season the test of travelling far and wide for their fixtures has not troubled The Pilgrims, winning their last five games.
Plymouth’s latest victory came against Wimbledon, a3-1 win easing Argyle into the quarter-finals of the National League Plate. In the league, Plymouth sit in third place as a result of huge wins such as the 5-0 thrashing of Chichester three weeks ago.
Plymouth’s One to Watch: Oxford will have to be wary of the attacking threat that Argyle forward Natasha Knapman will bring for the visitors. In her previous match against Wimbledon, Knapman got on the scoresheet twice, with the second goal resulting from a sensational 30-yard strike.
