Oxford United are delighted to announce that Rob Hall has signed a new one-year deal with the U’s, with an option for a further year.
Rob, 25, has had an injury hit last 14 months which restricted his appearances last season but he is now fit and well and can’t wait to get started again in pre-season.
“It has been so frustrating” he told us “but hopefully that is all behind me now. I went on holiday for a week to clear my mind but I’m back in every day now just making sure I keep doing the right things so that when the rest of the lads report back I am able to join in everything and get a good pre-season into me so I can play my part next season.
“The Gaffer has been great, keeping me involved all the time and checking how I have been and I also want to thank our physio Amy Cranston who has been unbelievable. She wrote down a fantastic plan and we have ticked everything off as we went along and now I just want the season to start again.”
Karl Robinson told us:
“It’s exciting because he has overcome a difficult two years and shown tremendous determination and character. He is a long way from where I want him to be but he will work continually with our fantastic sports science and medical team to be the best he can be. This is good news and now we need to keep building on it.”
