Oxford United To Take On Fulham

Oxford United are pleased to announce a second home pre-season friendly for this summer.

The U’s will take on Championship side Fulham at the Kassam Stadium on Tuesday 23rd July (7.45pm). It’s a chance for Karl Robinson to test his new look side against a team that played in the Premier League this season, and means that United will face two West London sides in quick succession.

Queens Park Rangers will visit the Kassam Stadium on 20th July for a game that will always conjure memories for United fans of the Milk Cup final of 1986.

The U’s head for Portugal at the end of June for a week of training, with no game planned during that week, and will then return for our first friendly on the weekend of 6th/7th July: we will announce who it is against very soon.

There are then three local games the following week against Oxford City, Thame United and Brackley Town followed by trips to Woking and Eastleigh before the home game against QPR.

The final game of pre-season will be a trip up the M40 to National League runners up Solihull Moors on Saturday 27th; one week before the new season kicks off in full.

We also have a prestigious away friendly still to be announced…
