Oxford United's young stars get the chance to show what they can do once again when they cross town to take on Oxford City in the Oxfordshire Senior Cup Quarter Final tonight.
The U's have enjoyed success at under 23 and under 18 level this season and those players get an opportunity to impress. Aaron Heap, Matt Berry-Hargreaves, Matt Taylor, Brandon Taverner and Albie Hopkins have been regulars for Chris Allen's under 23 side this year while Max Harris, Kyran Lofthouse, Owen James, Fabio Lopes, Freddie Niblett, Nico Jones, Leon Chambers-Parillon and Ryan Crooks are also included from the under 18 side.
Jack Stevens, who starred on loan at City last season, is likely to be in goal while many U's fans will have a first chance to see striker Jonte Smith in action since his arrival from Lewes on Deadline Day.
James and Hopkins are both on United's side tonight despite joining Mark Jones' City side on loan last week.
The game kicks off at 7.45pm at Court Place Farm and admission is £10 adults, £5 over 65s/Students and under 16s free.
The full draw for the Quarter Finals is
- Banbury United v Easington Sports
- Thame United v Ardley United
