Head Coach Karl Robinson is looking for his side to find their rhythm when they take on Bradford City at the Kassam Stadium in Sky Bet league 1 on Saturday.
"They are all difficult game at the back end of the season" he told iFollow this morning. "Before we started this batch of games we had a quarter of the season left and we feel that our performances haven’t been too far away. We have been inches away or a decision away from a more positive points tally. Sometimes things aren’t in your control, but we can work on the things that are like hitting the target, creating opportunities, asking questions of the goalkeeper, staying strong in midfield, keeping it tight at the back and playing with pace and purpose
“We are up against a very robust Bradford side who are free-flowing at the moment and playing a different system that we are going to have to negate. We will work on that and be as prepared as possible. We have to be ready for every eventuality
“I’d say the bottom eleven are still in the mix and we know it is going to be very difficult and we are all going to take points off each other. There’s a battle at the top as well; the top three look to be competing for two places, Charlton and Portsmouth look nailed on for the play-offs and there is one place left to fight for. There are probably only one or two teams in the league who aren’t fighting for either the play-offs or to stay out of trouble, and that’s quite unusual.
“We need players to take responsibility now. We have spoken about playing free and without having anything dragging you down. That’s something we will always encourage, but we have to find our rhythm very quickly and the players have to go out there on Saturday and show what they can really do.”
