There was good news for Oxford United today with both Jon Obika and Rob Hall outside on the training pitches for the first time since injury.
The pair have worked extremely hard for many weeks now after suffering ACL damage in the early part of the season. This morning they were out on the pitches for the first time after strengthening work in the gym, a little patience and some terrific work from the OUFC medical team.
Karl Robinson told us:
“It is a very big thing for them to be out of the physio room and out on the pitches again and everyone appreciated that and gave them a terrific reception. They have been through some tough times, mentally as well as physically but getting back out there will give them a huge lift and hopefully they can keep working hard and get back to full training over the next few weeks."
