Oxford United continue their pre-season with a friendly at Thame United this evening (7.45pm).
After kicking off their friendly schedule at Glasgow Rangers on Sunday Karl Robinson’s side have come closer to home this week, winning 5-3 at Oxford City last night and now making the short trip to Thame’s ASM Stadium before playing at Brackley Town on Thursday.
United add five players to the squad from last night. Rob Hall, Jamie Hanson and Mark Sykes come back into the fold and are likely to start as is keeper Simon Eastwood- Jack Stevens given most of last night’s game with Max Harris acting as back up.
There will also be a first game for Tony McMahon who spent the second half of last season at Scunthorpe but has returned to the U’s and is looking to compete for a first team spot once again, while Jamie Mackie may play some part after jarring his back in training last week.
