Oxford United have completed the signing of striker Jerome Sinclair on loan from Watford until the end of the season.
The 22-year-old forward came through the youth system at West Bromwich Albion before being snapped up by Liverpool and becoming the youngest player ever to play for the club just six days after his 16th birthday.
A £4 million move followed to Watford who have since loaned him to Birmingham City and Sunderland, where he was on loan for the first half of the season.
Head Coach Karl Robinson told us
“He is a player with so much potential. He has pace and a fantastic pedigree and will certainly strengthen us up front. He has been one of our key targets for a while and will go straight into the squad for Burton away on Saturday.”
