PREVIEW Burton Albion v Oxford United

Oxford United head for Burton on Saturday,

WEATHER WATCH
Early reports suggest that the snow that has hit much of the country shouldn't affect the game. The pitch has been under covers in the build-up to the match and the forecast is hopeful. As ever, the situation can change and we are in touch with Burton to monitor what is happening. We will have news here should anything happen, as well as on twitter (@OUFCOfficial)

TEAM NEWS
New signing Jerome Sinclair will be involved for the first time after competeing his loan signing from Watford on Deadline Day. Fellow forward Jonte Smith joined the U's this morning but will have to be patient while the paperwork is completed - the former Lewes man could be involved for the first time when we welcome Sunderland next Saturday.

Marcus Browne has stepped up his training this week after a tight hamstring and could return to the squad while James Henry is well again after a bout of food poisoning before the draw with Barnsley on Tuesday night.

John Mousinho returns to the Brewers, where he was captain, for the first time since joining the U's.

THE OPPOSITION
Burton boss Nigel Clough is wary of the U's after their draw with Barnsley on Tuesday.

"They played extremely well for 65 or 70 minutes against one of the best teams in the League," Clough said."So I think they'll be buoyed by that. I think they had a weekend off last weekend, so they were fresh and ready for a game.

"They will take some confidence coming here on Saturday. It's the same with Bradford. They got a late winner on Tuesday night, and they were probably buoyed by the confidence of getting a point here last week."
