Oxford United striker Matty Taylor has been nominated for the November Player of the Month in Sky Bet league 1
The four nominations, with the judges' comments are:
Matty Taylor (Oxford United) - striker
The prodigal son has made quite an impact in his loan spell return. A local Oxford boy, Taylor scored three goals in two games, which included a neat header for a last-minute equaliser at Portsmouth and two adept finishes at Southend.
Armand Gnanduillet (Blackpool) – striker
Injury limited Gnanduillet to two games in November, but what a return he provided with four goals and an assist. Having been dropped to the bench in October, his direct running and clinical finishing formed the perfect response.
Joe Jacobson (Wycombe Wanderers) – full-back
The left-back made a stunning impact in November. A pivotal member of a defence which recorded four clean sheets in as many games, Wycombe’s four goals also came through him with two penalties and two pinpoint free-kick assists.
Daryl Murphy (Bolton Wanderers) – striker
Having worked his way up to full fitness, Murphy is proving that class is permanent. Scored in each of his three games in the month, including the crucial injury-time winner against MK Dons which lifted Bolton onto a positive points tally.
The winners will be announced at 6am on Friday 13th December.
