Oxford United forward Ben Woodburn has been called up for the Wales Squad for their forthcoming games against Azerbaijan and Belarus
Ryan Giggs’ side take on Azerbaijan at the Cardiff City Stadium on Friday September 6th and then Belarus at the same venue in a friendly on the following Monday.
19-year-old Ben has already shown plenty of quality since joining the U’s on loan from Liverpool and we congratulate him on his call up.
He will miss United’s Sky Bet League 1 game away at Fleetwood Town on Saturday 7th.
He joins a fine list of Oxford players to have been called up for Wales while with the U's including Dave Roberts, Jeremy Charles, Neil Slatter, Andy Melville, Craig Davies and Dean Saunders
