Oxford United Women head for Gillingham on Sunday looking to bounce back from back to back defeats.
"It’s been a tough week where we haven’t got the results that we feel our performances deserve" Manager Liam Gilbert told us. "But that’s football and we have dusted ourselves down and are ready for our next challenge away to Gillingham. They had a good 3-1 win in the week so will be full of confidence.
"Despite how this week has gone we can take a number of positives from performances and the way players haven’t given up. We had a good training session last night where we were able to address some issues and prepare for the game Sunday.
"We have made two additions to the squad over the past week. Cat Beaver went straight into the starting line up on Tuesday evening. She played really well and has fitted into the group seamlessly.
"We have also added Georgia Brown to the group who is a really promising youngster. Georgia is another player who has a lot of potential and i am excited to see how she progresses. Georgia will be spending the start of the season with Alex Chael’s Cheltenham side who have been fantastic to work with so far."
Oxford United's under 18 side are also in action this weekend when they make the long trip to Plymouth Argyle on Saturday morning
