Oxford United’s under 18s are in home action on Saturday when they welcome Exeter City to Abingdon United’s Northcourt Road in the EFL Youth Alliance.
The under 18s have won their last five league games with a 4-2 win at Bristol Rovers their last result and coach Leon Blackmore-Such told us
“It has been going well but there is still plenty of work to do and it will be difficult against Exeter who have a great record for bringing youth team players through.
“It’s a midday kick-off because of the journey for them - Plymouth extended us that courtesy the other week so it’s only right to do it for Exeter. But whatever time we start we will be more than ready and looking to round off a good week of training with another win.”
Admission is free and there is always a warm welcome at Northcourt Road.
And if you can't make that game then there is another chance to see some of United’s promising youngsters in action next Thursday when they take on Swansea City in the U23 Cup.
The game takes place at Thame United’s ASM Stadium, kick off 7pm and again admission is free.
