Oxford United welcome Manchester City to Grenoble Road tonight in the Carabao Cup. It's a sell out and should be a fantastic night of football. Here's all you need to know about the game
Team News
The U's welcome back Cameron Brannagan after he was rested for the game against Walsall on Saturday following a clash of heads at Wycombe in the previous game. The former Liverpool youngster challenges Jamie Hanson, Josh Ruffels and Shandon Baptiste for a place in midfield but Manager Karl Robinson has hinted that there could be a few changes to the side as he looks to give players the experience of playing against the Champions in front of a full house.
Jamie Mackie (hip) Marcus Browne (knee), Rob Hall (knee) and Samie Carruthers are again missing although Carruthers is making good progress and should be back in a couple of weeks. Keeper Simon Eastwood is also on track for a return around that time after a finger injury.
See Karl Robinson and Cameron Brannagan previewing the game in iFollow ahead of the match.
The Opposition
Champions City are in ominous form with eight goals for and none against in their last two games and Manager Pep Guardiola is expected to recall defender VIncent Kompany as well as teenage midfielder Phil Foden. Brahim Diaz and Oleks Zinchenko will also be hoping to feature.
