Oxford United’s retro shirt on Saturday proved to be a huge success as the Yellows became the Oranges for just one game.
As a nod to our heritage as Headington United the U’s went for an orange kit for the 3-0 win over Shrewsbury and 125 replica shirts were made, each one individually printed with a year from 1893 right through to the present day.
The last of these was sold this afternoon and with £30 of each shirt going to the Academy we would like to thank everyone who bought a shirt and supported the club at the weekend.
