Oxford United Chairman Sumrith 'Tiger' Thanakarnjanasuth has expressed his deepest sympathy for the families of Leicester City owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha and those involved in the tragic events of Saturday evening.
Tiger told us
“Saturday had been such a fantastic day as we celebrated our 125th Anniversary but some things are much more important than football and the news coming out of Leicester that evening was a tragedy that affected us all very deeply.
“Vichai was a friend of mine; he was a kind, generous man who was wonderful company and did great things both for Leicester City and for Thailand. I am devastated by this and the thoughts and prayers of everyone at Oxford United go to the families of all who lost their lives in the crash.”
