Two of Oxford United promising youngsters have gone out on loan to help them gain match experience in senior football.
Defender Matt Berry-Hargreaves has joined Rushden and Diamonds on a youth loan, linking up with fellow first team pro Albie Hopkins at the Diamonds, while midfield playmaker James Cowan will join North Leigh after the weekend on a similar deal.
That makes eight young players out on loan with Armani Little having the biggest game this weekend when he will be trying to help Woking knock League 2 side Swindon Town out of the FA Cup.
Other loanees at the moment include Matt Taylor and Manny Agboola at Banbury United, Steven Johnson-Fikula at Aylesbury and Brandon Taverner at Didcot Town - Brandon is currently recovering from a hamstring problem and is unlikely to feature for the Railwaymen this weekend.
Two other United loanees are under new management since Sol Cambell took over at Macclesfield Town, while Ivo Pelaski is set to return to the U's next week after his loan at Halmstad came to an end.
